Our Story

You have probably heard of Traditional Chinese Medicine, but have you ever heard of Traditional Greek Medicine? It's a form of herbal science inspired by the first herbalist in history, Hippocrates.

Modern Day Herbalists

Modern day Traditional Greek herbalists consider it a blend of ancient spiritual principles such as the concept of mind body and soul healing, mixed with modern day knowledge of how plant based medicine can be used to treat the root cause of any disease. My Yiaya follows this philosophy through her herbal teas she's been creating for decades. Each recipe always contains three ingredients, one for the mind, one for the body, and one for the soul.

Mind, Body and Soul

My Yiaya applied this framework to me when she began to notice I would often feel stressed and unmotivated, sometimes in the summer and always in the winter. Traditional Greek Medicine created the idea that mental and emotional health is directly related to physical health. The word psyche in ancient Greek actually means mind, body, and soul.

The Birth of Sunshine Tea

This is why Sunshine Tea contained Saffron for a focused mind, Sage for a stressless body, and St. John's Wort for a joyful soul. This tea had such a profound impact on my mental health that I asked my Yiaya to make more so that we could share it with others. It turned out that she sourced all her herbs from the oldest soverign land on earth, The Holy Mountain, Greece.

Holy Mountain Inspiration

I became inspired to discover why these herbs worked so well when nothing else did. It turned out that The Holy Mountain has been preserved since ancient times, which has resulted in highly medicinal floral species which are arguably the most pure and advanced in the world. We decided to convert Sunshine Tea into a botanical concentrate preserved within raw honey because of its ability to support the absorption of herbal medicine.

The Birth of Sunny Honey

Sunny Honey is a powerful medicine with three of the most established herbs for mental health, sourced from the most natural eco-system in the world. We hope to continue to bring family recipes for healing from The Holy Mountain to the Western world so that everyone can experience the power of ancient medicine.
